We accept any file format, but here are our preferences: 24-bit or 32-bit WAV or AIFF, in case you have nothing but 16bit, that's fine too. We try to avoid lossy formats like mp3, OGG, MP3 etc...
Regarding the sample rate, anything between 44.1 and 192kHz will do. The best is that you send it to us in the same sample rate you have the mix.

How much is your mastering cost?
In principle it depends on the type of project, but to give you an idea, the mastering of a mix (2-5 minutes song) could cost you from 25 to 35 Euros. If it is more than one mix, the price decreases progressively.
Also, if you don't have the budget, depending on the project we can make an even bigger discount to support your music.
Headroom and Limiters
Limiters/maximizers are a type of compression that sometimes artists look for, in that case, OK, leave it. If you only use the limiter or maximizer to boost gain, turn it off for the delivery to make sure you have all the bits of the program material. Also you can send us the mix with any dBs of headroom, we do not ask for any specific number, as we can manipulate it later without any loss of audio information.
Last but not least, make sure you don't have any clips exceeding 0dBFS - unless it's a deliberate decision.
What is the ISRC?
The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is the international identification system for sound recordings and music video recordings. It is used to identify and track the use of recorded music.
This number has to be requested at the official agency for this purpose, here you can find the one in your country. If you provide us with the number, we will be happy to add it to the tracks. In any case usually the distributors or aggregators, in the case of streaming, ignore the metadata inside the tracks and collect all the information from the data you have entered.
Do you take care of the manufacturing process?
We can manage the production with the factory and take care of the materials for duplication - DDP images, Metadata, etc. Just tell us.
How about the credits?
We would love that if the recording is published our participation will be referenced as: "Mastered at Sonology Mastering" or "Mastered by Daniel del Río". In the end it is the client's decision, but since we have participated in the process we would be very happy if we appear with our small contribution.
